It’s beginning to look a lot like…

There is something slightly magical about snow.

Last week’s snowfall in the Midlands was just the right amount to settle perfectly on trees and fields and made everything look beautiful for a week.

Then there is the sound – the amazing crunch of fresh snow under boots is unique and just brings a smile to one’s face.  

It was enough to put to one side concerns about war, fuel bills, strikes and all of the other slightly depressing things going on at the moment.

Sometimes you just need to pause, relax and enjoy the moment.
