Great customer service

Our eldest daughter is working in Cologne for 2 years and we went to visit her recently after she’d moved into a rented flat. As soon as she had moved in, she kept telling me that we had to go to the waffle place on the corner when my wife and I visited.

I must admit I do like a waffle, but I wasn’t quite sure why she was so enthusiastic.

We went on the 3rd day of our visit, and wow was it worth the wait. As you can see from the picture, this is not just an ordinary waffle and ice cream place. This is a place where they play homage to the waffle… and to the customer.

They did what so many businesses claim to do, but rarely deliver. They turned an everyday occurrence into an experience. We will be visiting every time we return to Cologne.

Good customer service really isn’t that difficult, is it?
